Oh man, my parents leaving us at home was such a joy! No Parents! Once the eldest of us was about 12, they started leaving us home alone for a couple of days – someone would come clean the house, do laundry, and cook dinner – but we’d have to clean up after dinner, do our homework, put ourselves to bed and catch the bus in the morning by ourselves. (And we never missed the bus!)
