They like veggie scraps too. I have been moving them outside a little at a time. I set the kettle on the counter and when I see somebody(s) in there I have a ring notebook I quick put over and then take them outdoors. Doing my best to get them out so that there wont be ‘generations’ to carry me through winter.
Thinking seriously for a moment, they might be able to use the Google Maze Map to find their way out. They go to an “Intersection”, then check the map to see what areas look like that intersection. Then on to another, and another. Possibly, they can deduce by that, where they are in the maze…
Sedgwick and Jarvis could try the “wall follower” trick if the maze is simply connected, a topological term to describe a maze that consists of walls that are all connected to the outside wall. Basically, the maze is a tangled string, but if stretched out would form a circle, and by placing one’s hand on the right hand wall upon entering the maze and never crossing over (letting go of the wall to bypass a section), one will find the exit (which may be the entrance). However, if the maze contains “islands” — sections which are not connected to the outside perimeter, then the wall follower rule won’t work.
Credit Sedgie with at least trying, as well as being trying to almost-despondent Jarvis. The maze can’t be all that difficult, though, if they’d just get off their duffs and start seeking the exit.
Or, phone Herberto to come in with a bulldozer and clear a path through the hedges….

They are THAT small. I get them in the kitchen where I have a pan in one half of the divided sink for food scraps.

But if little Sedgie were to stand on your shoulders, you might see your way clear.

One thing is clear, they’re never going to find their way out sitting on their haunches or standing still.

Does Jarvis ever actually look at Sedgwick? He seems to always have this look of absolute boredom looking elsewhere at nothing.

Just use the Waze app to get out of the Maze…

Most mazes, if you just follow one wall it will (eventually) lead you to the way out.

Could have Herbito follow your voice to find you…with a map, so you’re not all lost.
