Panel 2 seems like some vampire mumbo jumbo which needs to be verified. Maybe Leo could lock Gary in a cage and not feed him to see if he really can never loose weight.

Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we…do it all over again, day after day for eternity until we tire of everything and walk finally into the sunlight with head held high, belly full, and belt undone.

Why bother when it does no good? The way you were when you turned, is the way you’ll be forever! Manga!

If you can’t win don’t fight… unless you simply enjoy fighting.

In many stories, a vampire can indeed lose weight — but it takes centuries, and a few good feedings of blood returns them to their previous condition.

Starvation will change that, and vampires can last longer starving than humans can. The zombie infection in Walking Dead is tougher than that and that one was originally designed to keep you alive essentially with a die-and-come-back-alive card only it wasn’t finished when it snuck out for months. Escaping from the Manhattan, Kansas complex in 2012-2015 and started spreading to several states first then a big jump to California then the East Coast. After 106 days the rest of the world gets a taste.

What had the potential to change the meaning of life and death and what it means to be human instead ravages the world. Except in a few well-prepared enclaves scattered over the world. Most of them are either black or blue sites with very few green and only one orange location.

The controversial animal disease research laboratory, Plum Island Animal Disease Center, located on the relatively remote island off the tip of Long Island will be moving to the heartland of America, Manhattan, Kansas, sometime on or around 2014. Public domain photo/Keith Weller
