Des Moines may not be great, but it beats the he double l out od Kansas.
Must be flying United.
And the dog will have to be shipped as freight.
Dog? Until I saw the tiny red tongue, I thought it was a shadow or an ink blot.
But long layovers can be fun. On my many African jobs there was always a 5+ hour layover in London (shopping), Paris (Disneyland), Amsterdam (bicycling), etc.
5 hr layover, just enough time to get thru security
you can’t get there from here.
Would have thought the layover might be in Narnia or Middle Earth.
well the good news is you will have time to get a Zombie Burger….!
Just click your heels!
Direct flights from Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, and Orlando.
Hmm..there should be a Cyber Monday special with Greyhound Bus.
Is that supposed to be Toto? Since when is he a Rottweiler?
It’s less than a four hour drive from De Moines to KC, but wasn’t Dorthy too young to drive?
Going to a Wizard of Oz convention way back in the day, I had a five hour wait in the Fresno bus station. I think this is similar…
At least it’s not Detroit.
There’s an old saying: when you die, it doesn’t matter if you’re going to heaven or hell, you’ll still have a layover in Atlanta.
I think Oz was sent back to New Jersey by way of Pennsylvania.
More likely she’ll have to go via Atlanta, LaGuardia and O’Hare
Iowa take that.
Not surprising since his great abilities include being able to con people.
