It never ceases to amaze me that people walking on the street don’t look at what’s above them. They seem oblivious to anything that’s not directly in their sightline.

This is probably why CCTV camaras capture so many miscreants in the act.

I often sit out on my roof terrace and watch the action in the street below. Rarely, – I am mean rarely – does anyone ever look up and see me. On the odd occasion when they do, I always smile and give them a friendly nod or wave, just to see their reaction.

Why does anyone loan him money at all?!?

Never LEND money to people like Andy Capp; It will always be a gift, and nothing else…if you can’t afford to give a person money outright, then you don’t have money to give, at the moment. Lending, is a heartache, and a way to lose friends or relatives

Anybody who lends Andy money deserves what he gets.
