My son’s friend suggested they see how long they could let their hair grow before a parent suggested/ordered a haircut.

“Fine by me but I assure you I’ll win because my parents don’t care.” The next day the mother of t’other insisted he get it cut.

My son told me about it later. I agreed I really DIDN’T care because hair doesn’t make the man. Besides it was all going to fall out in a few years.
