Well, they did exchange pretense.

I am glad the unfolding drama is audience free. No Sylvia, Nelson, Roscoe or Muffins.

Opal has a weird idea definition of miracles.

That kind of relationship could make for interesting family reunions.

You have to take the wins where you can get them.

Pearl=Endora sort of!

Well, hardly an “O. Henry” Christmas story … More like an “O. Earl” story.

It’s hard to believe that they still dislike each other. Earl dated Pearl before he dated Opal!

In this case, I don’t blame Roscoe for not hanging around!

Usually this kind of tension leads to an affair. In this strip, not so much.

They need a picture of the moment, complete with how stupid Earl looks. Kind of toddler like, except I think most toddlers have better manners.

What has caused such animosity between those two?

Can’t Pearl do something with her hair? Ick.

If they ain’t liked each other all this time…..what makes her think that this particular Christmas will be any different than the (guessing here) previous 25 Christmases? ;-)
