I remember once doing a driving exam that had (honestly!) a multiple choice question asking “what does a tyre do?” Seeing one of the options was “keep the car off the ground” the only possible answer was “all of the above” since what else does?

The fact that Phoebe doesn’t fall to the ground isn’t proof that Marigold is real. Phoebe could just be imagining that she’s not on the ground.
