Actually, that’s a thing. I once read about a case where there was a hole in the guy’s sinuses that was allowing cerebral fluid to drain into his nasal cavity (yewww!). Once it was discovered he had surgery to close the hole.
There’s a close connection between the nasal cavity and the brain. That’s how “brain-eating amoebas” are able to enter the brain… through the nose. And there are cases of leaking cerebral fluid through the nose.
Used to ask students why they said “Gesundheit” when someone sneezed and never got a good answer until one student stood up and started singing “Tradition!” from Fiddler on the Roof. (he got extra credit)
I have a strong suspicion that mucous membranes are the most active organs in a human. At least in the spring. And summer. Also fall and winter (for me) <achoo!>

I’m surprised your brain has anything at all, considering you’re active imagination, Calvin.

Normal, Cal — that’s why you have a “snot trough” right below your nose.

As an old British repair manual advised, leaks are advantageous because it proves the lubrication. When it stops leaking is when you should worry.

It could be some electrolyte from his brain battery. Let’s see if he slows down or his imagination gets weaker.
