Well we can at least say that gun control has gone to the dogs.

By the way, where is Roaming, who hails from Australia? I haven’t seen him here lately, and he was a frequent commenter. I don’t think he told any jokes, but just listed banned joke tellers. Yet another Lone Ranger has ridden off into the sunset, or sunrise where he lives——gone with the wind of laughter. Hi-yo Silver!

Dogs are more likely to slash and bite someone to death in the act of guarding a person or place.

My brother-in-law was born in Germany, his father was from the Ukraine, his mother was Russian. By German law he was not a German citizen. When he appiled for U.S. citizenship he had to contact the Ukrainian embassy.

Some of those “accidental” shootings were likely intentional. Some dogs can only put up with so much abuse before taking things into their own paws.

    Right, “accidentally.” Woof!

I need to check on that Irish thing. My mother said grandpa was caught up in the “Home kids” scoop in the British Isles, and sent to farms as slave labour.

As long as the dog has a license I see no reason why it shouldn’t be allowed to own a gun.

Only Grandparents? They don’t go further than that? If they did, I could totally claim citizenship!

Just to nitpick a bit, the post says “shot”, not necessarily “killed”. I tried to research a bit to see how many people actually died from being shot by a dog, but didn’t find that information…

Reason #735 why I don’t own a pet (I also don’t own a gun, so perhaps that really isn’t a good objection to pet ownership — although you never know where your pet might go to buy a gun . . . ).

I’d bet that the majority of those people that were shot by dogs lived in Texas, since anyone can own one now.
