Given your cooking skills Earl, don’t think you want her doing that.

Split the difference. Write a children’s book about a long-haul trucker.

(Remember all those times Captain Kangaroo read “Mike Milligan and the Steam Shovel” to us when I was a kid.)

Ex long haul driver here: stick to writing a children’s book. It’s going to be much easier on the body.

I’m with Earl on this one.

I don’t think she could keep her arms straight out to hold a steering wheel for 10 hours a day. It’s harder then it sounds. I did it without power steering when I started.

I gave it a try, it wasn’t for me! 6,380 miles for one long-haul trip kept me away from home a lot longer than I wanted.

Opal can hit (and probably swear) like a trucker.

Earl is just a little confused – the long haul trucker thing is his dream.
