Definitely push her back up. She can’t sing as well when she’s gurgling.

And if she hadn’t departed us, did you know she would be over 99 years old this year. Her weight probably wouldn’t be too hard for you to push her up onto the ship.

Every year one of us pulls this out…..Can February march?No, but April may..

Good morning Crew!

Nate is an opera buff? Who knew? I never had the privilege of hearing Ms. Callas live, but I was fortunate enough to hear the late Luciano Pavarotti sing in person at least six times; five different operas and one solo recital.

I’ve never heard of her before, thank you, Chip, for telling us about her! Her voice is sublime. I’m privileged to be in The Tabernacle Choir At Temple Square and we just performed Mendelsohnn’s Elijah complete Oratorio a week ago with magnificent Metropolitan Opera, award winning singers. It was amazing! The Utah Symphony accompanied us with renowned conductor, Thierry Fischer. It is his last year with the Utah Symphony so we felt very blessed to have him conducting us.

Maria Callas was a wonderful singer.

Opera loving pirates? Now I’ve seen it all.

I understand his love for her singing, but my current fav is Diana Damrau singing Queen of the Night opera from Mozart’s Magic Flute. The high notes are the highest in Opera, four notes above High C.

Where are the wolves? They’d love this!

This coming Saturday is Infantry Day.

Always nice to expand my musical horizons …
