If reincarnation occurs so we can correct mistakes or improve, we humans must be WAY down on the line from perfection. Then too, with eight billion of us we probably come back as some species for which the environment can handle eight billion new ‘whatevers’. I’m thinking anchovies, cows, or ants.

This toon set off a long period of deep thought. Would I want to? Could I actually avoid making the same mistakes over again? Would I really take better care of my health? Realizing that I don’t actually believe in reincarnation, I had a sip of coffee and moved on.
