It was long hushed up, but the Truth can now be known:
Among the “forgotten episodes” in the Candid Camera TV episode archives is the scene at the crew Halloween Party when Allen Funt and Durward Kirby dressed/ undressed as Socrates and Alcibiades in the Kristian Zahrtmann painting.

Perhaps as a result of my recent post inquiring about him, Dragoncat has “Liked” one of my limericks. Rechecking his Profile page I see that he has made a lot of Comments recently on several other GoComics features. So, happily, he is OK.
It appears that Silly Season has gone down the Memory Hole to join Ish. My guess is that the infamous Moderators considered his recent posts to be in violation of the spirit of point (8) of the Comments Policy. I will continue to read Ish’s recent comments on his Profile page, since GoComics has not done anything to prevent us from doing so.
There isn’t obvious consistency in who gets banned or for how long, but it seems that a good plan for those of us who wish to avoid excommunication is to follow their rules whether or not we agree with them or consider them fair. (This would probably also apply to people already in exile but who would like to return.)

Socartes: I’ll give you this award if you’ll put your clothes on and behave, Alcibiades.
Alcibiades: The awards I get are much greater than that for keeping my clothes off and misbehaving.

in class on his bare prat;
that’s why Socrates draped chairs with plastic.

Looking at him in the flesh,compared to the clay model, Socrates realized the the sculpture of Alcibiades was going to be a bust.
