70 degrees tomorrow…WITH 70 MPH wind. Then snow. The world has gone nuts!

It’s almost 2 am Tuesday morning. Hope you’re okay—haven’t posted any great pictures for us today.

If cats ran the office, it would be nap time all day and nothing would get done.

Today is:

NATIONAL STICKY BUN DAY

NATIONAL GRAIN-FREE DAY

Yesterday, when I went out to the car to get some bags of cat litter out of my trunk, I saw a downy woodpecker eating the suet cake I have out. I wish I had my cell phone with me and the camera ready to take some pictures!

Four nights in a row now I got to touch Panther. Full strokes again! I only got to tap Annie, so I won’t give myself a “Ha ha!” on her, but maybe I can get a “Ha!” on her and count my “Ha ha!” for petting Panther 2 strokes before she moved away. Only at feeding time. I can’t get that close the rest of the day. Especially not with Panther. I get very close to Annie every morning when she plays her “Ha ha!” game, but she usually wins that.

Yep, this is completely accurate. Cats rule!

My old gentleman died yesterday afternoon. He was 81.

He was a farmer most of his life. In his youth he payed for the Giants. He said that the first time he showed up to spring training Willy Mays showed up at the airport to pick him up. He had some stories. I’m missing the old guy.

Hi all, sorry I didn’t post pictures today, but late last night I had a reoccurrence of the cardiac issue that put me in hospital for a week five years ago. Fortunately the meds I’m on for it managed to get it under control eventually, but it did mean a trip to hospital. I’m OK, but feeling a bit weak, which should improve fairly quickly now things are working right.

I’ll get back to posting again in a few days.

I am glad that he was at home and his brother was with him. I know you will miss him.

A little nap every now and then might not hurt. Maybe cats have the right idea. On another note, saw two squirrels, two robins, a spotted towhee, a golden crowned kinglet, two chickadees, nine juncos, and a raven while out walking today.
