These days, Noteman really has his work cut out for him.

Would it not be easier if the ****ing news simply had a segment simply called “Good News of the Day”? Oh wait, that would not get the ratings, downloads and clicks and would also not create enough divisiveness with people going at it from opposing points of view.

Since he handed Goat a hardcopy rather than sending a text, I have to ask a question: Does “Noteman” break down into “Note-Man” or “Not-eMan”?

Remember the NEWs is what is new and different. When the bad stuff is ignored and the good stuff is “news” we’re really in trouble.

It really is important to get out there and see the good. Living online (including television) only is definitely unhealthy.

This is why I don’t watch the news. That and I don’t really care.

I just watch the weather. There will always be political and war news. Just the names will change. I couldn’t care less. There’s enough in my world to make me depressed if I let it. I don’t need more. I’ve learned to count blessings.

Just out of curiousity, does no one in PBS-world own a chair? (Also, which universe does PBS reside in?) (I am currently writing this from Earth 133. =-} )

interesting how with all the things Goat, Pig and Rat have, they’re still watching an old tube TV. They can’t afford a flat screen?

One of the things I’ve always liked about the sitting-in-front-of-the-TV archetype artwork is that Mr. Pastis is clearly paying homage to Charles Schulz. It’s a little thing but greatly appreciated.

Hate to disillusion you, Pig, but NoteMan is a joke, and not even a very funny one. Goat’s depression will deepen in spite of NoteMan….
