The late Sonny Eliot, long-term Detroit area weather forecaster who always put so much humor into his reports that by the time he was done you realized you’d been so busy laughing at his jokes that you never actually paid attention to what he said the weather was going to do, used to say the best cure for a sore throat was to rub it with alcohol – from the inside!

Good idea. One of the few side effects I have from my latest “flu” is loss of taste. I think a Bailey’s would perk this cup right up!

If I lived with Amy and Ray I’d probably be putting booze in my morning coffee, too.
