this is a repost of a post that I posted late yesterday… for those who came in late…

I JUST got a call from my primary as to the results of the MRI’s, which were taken yesterday at La Grange hospital… 200 pictures were taken in a matter of 20 minutes and the results were…turns out I have MULTIPLE herniated discs that was the source and reason for the intense pain that I have been experiencing gradually since late November… and that’s it, really… so I have an appointment booked for May 15th to talk to the neurologist about all this… I asked my primary whether this means surgery, which I want to avoid at all costs, but if such must happen, then so be it… and the strangest and most bizarre thing about this all is…since yesterday, AFTER I had the MRI done, the intense pain has stopped… other than SLIGHT traces of sore and ache, for the most part, that nasty pain has seemed to subside at this point… for the first day in quite awhile, I am not moaning and groaning and whining like a little girl… I am sound-free from making all that noise… LOL… and NO, this changes NOTHING about me not feeling any pain… just because I’m not feeling anything, the herniated discs are STILL in there, biding it’s time to once again fook my life up with grief… like I don’t already have enough schitt on my plate to deal with…so that’s it really, fellow class/inmates, just wanted to share with the class with a little show and tell… well, tell, if not show…so til May 15th, I’ll have to ride this out and remain pain-free for the moment and hope it lasts, because that pain I’ve been going through made my keg feel like a red-hot rod of barbed wire was shoved into my leg and being twisted back and forth… I kid you not, that’s how bad it felt, almost to the point of tears… I don’t know what’s made the pain disappear, but I ain’t arguing about it… must be my clean living and my exemplary behavior… LMAO…

I was hoping to go to the Con because you know I love them so much. I was hoping to attend that seminar with the former Playboy Bunny (with bells) who was going to do the demonstration on “Sex Toys from the Ancient World and How Cleopatra Used Them,” and instead I see Gravel Gertie!

I don’t mind subplots and I don’t mind the Plentys. But this is rather abrupt.

Is this ANOTHER mid-boring-plot-arc teaser like the Oliver Warbucks / Diet Smith thing in the last snooze fest was?

So, I figured if I keep on the pace that I’m going, my medical bills SHOULD all be paid off before the end of the year…which means that for my 2023 income tax returns, I can claim ALMOST $2100 in medical bills…I’ve already paid off two of them ($495 on one..just made last payment today, started in January and it was supposed to be 6 months…and around $152 on the other) but the “BIG ONE” is still looming…almost $4100 for the kidney stone procedure, waiting on the insurance company to decide how much of it they’re going to pay
