R.I.P Al Jaffee. I recently acquired a reprint of the 1956-57 “Trump” magazine (two issues), where some of Jaffee’s earliest work appears, and he was a force to be reckoned with right from the start.

Mr Bolling, this rocks. Thank you very much.

I think Al Jaffee would be honored by this tribute. It is done perfectly in his style and sense of wicked humor.

Only thing missing is the “fourth line” in every panel, where the readers could supply their own answers…usually with language that would get us banned here…
