    my cat’s weight is accurate to something like tenths of an ounce. vet has electronically calibrated (state certified) scales. when she says so many tenths of an ounce, i tend to believe her.

    My bathroom scale would lose this case. I can stand on it, get one reading, then get off and stand on it again and get a second reading as much as eight pounds different.
