A control freak is someone who FREAKS when not in CONTROL of a situation. ;/

Control freak. Now you say, “Control freak who?”

Dad’s right about nothing working unless someone cares enough to do it right.

I may not make any comments tomorrow. I will be going on a day trip to Llandudno in North Wales with some friends. Llandudno was made famous three years ago during the UK’s first Covid lockdown. There was film on the Internet of wild goats roaming the streets of Llandudno.

I say this because someone expressed concern for me three years ago when I didn’t comment for two days. Someone else had told me they had missed me in 2019 when I missed just one day. There are others among you who may well be glad that I will be missing a day as some people have been very hostile to my comments and I am sometimes accused – with good reason – of repetition. I certainly do make the same points regularly but there are occasionally new readers who are pleased to read something I have mentioned before.

LOL! THIS coming from an office worker who gets mad that the secretaries put calls through to him – lazy, indeed!

Calvin you should be proud of your dad, he is such a fountain of knowledge and insight that let other fathers in shame.

Dad coolly parries another jab from Cal. He’s very good at that. Doesn’t yell, doesn’t insult, just subtly redirects Cal’s attempts to get a reaction.

Control Freak? It’s another word for “Programmer”.

Control Freaks do everything, they trust no one else.

I considered being called a control freak a badge of honor in my working career.

A control freak is obsessed with where things belong .

I could tell you stories, but you’d get no sleep for days.

It’s pretty simple. Someone has to be in charge of a work effort. That someone does not have to be in charge of you.

No one gets to be in charge of a marriage. That’s why divorce was invented.

When I had to leave on a month’s business trip, I put my cat Kirby (pictured in avatar) in charge of my other cat Johnny Depp. When I returned, Kirby dashed out to see me and, although normally a quiet cat, spent thirty minutes telling me how glad he was I was back and how Johnny Depp had refused to recognize his authority in innumerable ways.

After a half hour with both of us looking for him, Johnny Depp came out from under the deck. “Oh, it’s you.”

Even cats cannot herd cats. :)

Control Freak: One that comes and tells you to do something you are already doing, and how to do it.

Otherwise known as a wife.

Odd that a control freak would have a son that’s out of control.

I wonder how Calvin got left out of the genetic code that should have been passed on by his Father….

A control freak is someone who was never allowed any say in his or her life or who was a witness to this kind of abuse. If they can’t control their own lives or the people around them they develop disorders.

This is why Calvin’s dad is my favorite character.

I know her. I am married to her.

The enemy of the CONTROL freak is the KAOS freak.

At least he admits it.
