Three dimensional Chutes & Ladders, on the other hand, would actually work. With the hippos I foresee someone slipping on all the marbles scattered across the floor.
What you don’t hear in commercials for “HHH” is how insanely loud that game is. It doesn’t go “clack clack clack”. It goes “BANG BANG BANG”! Hard plastic banging on hard plastic constantly. What a joy.

I believe there was more than one episode that showed 3-D Chess.

Life size HHH with teens on roller boards roughly 12”x12” and foam balls 8-12” can be a fun youth activity.

I fly an airplane in 3 dimension all the time. (Warning don’t try this in an automobile, they don’t do well in 3 dimensional space.)

Personally, I have trouble picking up the pieces to move them in 2-dimensional chess.

Gravity may make that difficult.

Remember that episode where they allowed their bodies to be vaporized, so a copy could be made elsewhere? :) :) :)
