Good call, Earl. Maybe you can talk, Opal into the fifty inch flat screen later. The other two probably not.

Pool sounds like a good hobby for a retired person. One of my aunts was good at pool.

I went out and bought a very nice LARGE computer monitor several years ago because my eyes were getting bad. I know that’s not the same sort of thing at all, but hear me: I couldn’t use it comfortably: It was TOO big, and I had to hold my head in uncomfortable positions to see the various windows. You might be able to reasonably use a 50" TV because you CAN get far enough away. But some of the larger ones are simply too big to let people enjoy them in a normal room.

Earl is me. I have been working on that grouting job for a few days. Should have taken one. But, then, I have never been one to rush a job.

H-m-m-m-m. Come to think of it, maybe I should wash our cars. Been about a decade since the last time. Yep. I’ll add that to the plan today?

Spackle isn’t bad stuff to work with, but if you’re talking grout do yourself a favor and hire a pro before you waste a lot of your own time — and then need to hire the pro to fix both the original problem and your attempts to fix it.

A 50" flat screen TV? Why so small Earl? Mine’s 55" OLED and the only reason why it’s not a 65" is that the cable drop is in the wrong place.

Currently using a 55 incher cause, at the time of purchase, a 75 incher would have cost three times as much. I spent most of the savings on beer and liquor. The rest I just wasted.

Having just spent the last two weeks cleaning and polishing the hard water spots off the tile in the master bath, etching the floor, resealing the floor, caulking the floor/wall joint and resealing all the grout in the four walls, uuuuhhhh…Thanks, but NO!

50"? Lame. The TV I play Fortnite on is a 60". 82 in the living room, 75 in the bedroom, waiting on 90 or 100 before any updates.

Love baseball and football on the big screen, the colors, the backgrounds of movies (old movies show old LA, NY in the background). But…..the faces can be a problem. Lovely actresses with eyes the size of golf balls. Giant Pores in the skin of news announcers. Action sequences that fill up the screen and are unwatchable except for segments on parts of the screen. Still, overall its nice compared to our 14" screen in 1962.

About two years ago we bought a Samsung 65" 4K tv which is awesome. I replaced our home theater system and it is actually better than the theater. The only problem is that my wife doesn’t like the home theatre set up because it makes her vibrate! ;-p
