I don’t even know where the VHS player is, assuming it didn’t end up getting dumped overboard. Better put this one back in the jar.

The first task to fixing it is finding a vhs tape to try it out. That’s why everyone keeps putting it back in the jar.

Our 2006 Acura still has a working cassette tape player in it. We had to order it special back then. We used to listen to audiobooks on tape on long drives.

If you can’t do the jobs, quit reaching in the jar!

True story. Back in the day, a woman was suing a big company in a wrongful death case. The company tried to overwhelm her by giving her thousands of documents in discovery. One item was a non-VHS type video cassette. That tape sat in the corner for months until someone decided to seek out the rare player that could show it. That tape had all the evidence she needed to win the case.

My VHS player sits on the shelf above my TV in my entertainment center gathering dust. OK! You inspired me to unplug it and donate it to the Goodwill.

I got mine fixed a few years ago, still occasionally use it.
