So, Jacob didn’t get detention..?

Now we’ll never know whether his mom looks weird.

“We’re not supposed to study in detention” I can’t tell if that’s dana trying to avoid doing work, or something an actual school did because it sounds sadly plausable.

Why can’t Dana study in detention? You’d think they’d want them to do something productive.

They all got detention because other people chanted “fight”? Did I miss a strip?

Is not being allowed to study in detention an actual thing now?

It can’t be an accident that all the mothers are relatable and likeable. Also, not one of the girls gets a ride from a dad? Also, panel 3 … Marcie from Peanuts is in detention again?

Seems like this was case of, “let’s just punish everyone involved in the incident; that way we know we got the right kids.” I kind of understand that attitude now that I’m an adult, but I still think it’s a bit lazy.

Heart’s answer is the best answer.

What are you supposed to do in detention if not study?

Thinking we might be getting Steenz’s version of The Breakfast Club.

Is Saturday detention a real thing? It was just after school for us.

This is going to be a Breakfast Club riff, isn’t it? Not that I’m complaining… :)

At least Heart won’t be lonely. (yeah, I know, too soon)

Jacob…the cause of the whole drama doesn’t get detention, but Charlotte AND Kat does?! Charlotte was trying to decide the situation and Kat was the one being bullied by Jacob!! Yep, I’m upset.
