If ya don’t do what he says, he’ll rub ya out.

Dave Blazek is on an exceptional roll this week. This is the second idea of his this week that seemed especially clever. I’m rarely impressed by any cartoonist twice in one week, but this one and the Ikea “comic frame” gag have both been fantastic.

Oh no, there is a rubbery taking place

And yet pencil control laws still fail to stop bad guys with erasers.

Now THAT’S an eraser.

Quick, knock open the hydrant and watch him run!

Pencil in an escape route!!

If they catch the pero, they’ll put him in the pen for sure!

He can’t fill them full of lead. Pencils haven’t used lead in decades.

I don’t get the point.

Would you like to be erased?

If he already has the pencil, why not just draw some money? Or go to the bank and with-draw some money??

Never bring a pencil to a Sharpie fight

Did they draw him a check?

“Well, okay. If you don’t have any cash, can you write me a check? What, didn’t bring your checkbook? Geez. OK, here’s my card. When you get home, write me a check and mail it to the address on the card….”

Now that screen drawing can be digitally removed, do we refer to that as being e-rased?

There’s never an editor around when you need one.

The victims can head down to the police station and describe the perp to the sketch artist.

Looks like he’s ready to rub one out.
