If I were Sam and was in the room to hear that I would be radioing in for the death certificate to be signed, sealed and waiting when the meat wagon pulls in. Is Tracy being laser Floyded ?

Dare I say this, but with the issue of no writers available the conclusion of DT could be soon, just like the present author of The Phantom wants to end that franchise.

I thought Tracy was joking yesterday

So… Apparently the police are not interested in the burning television station now that a fire truck has arrived. Thankfully this part of town is utterly deserted so there is no traffic to direct. Did our trio of axe wielding scammers escape the burning building? (Sam’s wrist wizard detected no life signs at the front of the building… On the other hand, Tracy’s detected no life signs when Madsen was standing near a window and close enough Tracy might have seen him if he’d been looking up instead of at his wrist.)

Ah well, as the Emperor Nero once observed a good fire in the slums is a boon for urban renewal. (There is no evidence he had ordered the fire. But his willingness to grab the newly cleared area for a his own building projects generated a 1st century conspiracy theory by those who had lost their hovels, which the later Flavian emperors were only too willing to perpetuate to show why the gods had chosen them to replace those degenerate Julio-Claudians.)
