More likely the other posh students will laugh at you behind your back and not invite you to their private parties because you’re not in their socioeconomic class and/or go to their house of worship.

Patty has her standards. She never achieves them, but she does have them.

Wow. CB got some interesting visuals of girls in clothing

CB looks intrigued by the mental image of Patty in a private school outfit.

To be fair, an athlete like PP would likely be recruited by a private school. And they’d have tutors as well.

PP can’t even deal with CB’s wistful imagery!

Patty in a skirt is unlikely.

Give her a few years, and Peppermint Patty will be undeniably beautiful. That’s the poignant characteristic of many of the “Peanuts” characters: they’re forever marooned at an awkward age and can’t imagine things getting better. She’ll be a stunning, intimidating redhead with the athletic confidence to match. And Charlie Brown will have missed out on yet another little redheaded girl.
