Way way back in my stupid daze, I managed to get into the subway tunnel in the middle of the night when they were not running, and walked from one station to the next. I did avoid the third rail since I was not totally drunk at the time, but to this day I wonder “what was that idiot thinking?”
Have we seen Tracyville’s subway system before? And there was a connecting station right underneath the old television station? If it had been a simple stop on the line there wouldn’t be much of a choice – one way or the other… Or, have they wandered miles at this point and are now in an abandoned connecting station? And, wasn’t it convenient for the television station employees to have a direct opening from their building to the subway platform so they didn’t have to walk out and run the risk of rain, snow, or police?
Somebody complained yesterday that these same characters we see in today’s strip would be forgotten and fade away until needed in a future storyline. Now, we see them hopelessly lost in a tunnel. Nobody’s going to note that they weren’t forgotten after all? Tough group to please…
Still not sure what was going on here. It started with Ms. Plenty getting a scam phone call. Then all that other stuff. and Barefoot Lady briefly working for the phone bank. Did Tracy ever find where that stucco came from?
I foresee a cameo by Clyde around the bend. I know, but somebody’s gotta give him his props. Could our phone scammers run into Yeti in the down-under? Or maybe Double-Up and Ace in a hidden bunker? The possibilities are endless. ENDLESS I TELL YOU!!
If only the author knew what Sprocket was up to when she’s on the clock. Such Shenanigans.
2-…Now my luscious lips will look like Chainring’s two undercooked hot dogs!
CHAINRING: HEY! A lotta guy’s like my hot dogs! AUDIE TORY: No we don’t…
3-…errrr, Why are you in the lead? Do you know where we are? CHAINRING: No clue. I’m just have a “take-charge” personality. A natural born leader. AIIIIEEEE!!! IT’S…oh. That’s my shadow. Ok – follow me!
SABRA: Which way back to the fire? I’ll take my chances there…
How old is Sabrina, anyway? In today’s episode she looks and behaves like a petulant young teenager (who would be better off out playing with Crystal and Honeymoon).
Meanwhile, intrepid “Susan” (Sprocket) takes point, ‘cause she’s the Ranger of this little team, while crusty Augie is the grunt, and Sabrina at best the yappy sidekick.
Is the right old subway tunnel right? What may lie ahead? The underground adventure continues for these fugitives from Justice….

Sprocket dumped her pride in the cesspool of this story
Mini-Warbucks looks like he’s wearing a bad toupee. Sorry Shelly, not your best effort.
Sabrina seems to be mimicking firestrike by shrinking an inch every day!

Sprocket is right, Madsen basically is a nice guy. He just doesn’t handle pressure well.

I’ve never seen Sprocky so angry looking. Guys .. I think we got a problem here.
Leave it to vengery to make issue with shadowing on Audie’s head, like it was a Locher Louse up. LOL !

If they’re lucky, they’ll end up in the mailroom of a nice department store.

Maybe they will meet the Ace of Spades and Doubleup who entered a tunnel to escape Tracy in another story arc…

Dark tunnels can be disorienting as heck, they’re not out of the woods yet – but I’m glad to see they got out of the burning building!
