The Robber Mice are off to join Queen Mag. We all know that spells DOOM for Wicket and his moles.

Ooooh! The needle jacket makes an appearance. Things are definitely getting serious now.

With the Robber Mice going to help the raccoons along with Mona and the Underground Mole Resistance Cell as well as the secret weapons found by Princess Magazine and Beatrix the balance of power in this conflict is quickly shifting. The side of good may yet prevail over the chaos of Montague Mole and his Evil Puppet Master Wicket the Wicked!

It’s kind of amazing how the situation has developed, especially given past history between the cats and the raccoons. Kudos especially to Goldie, given how Queen Mag originally treated her. It’s neat to see amity and reconciliation.

Natasha has certainly gotten a lot of mileage out of those cactus spikes! If Agnes is going along as an embedded reporter, she’s going to need some camouflage or protective gear. Her pretty in pink reporter duds won’t work in a war zone.

OT Sad News

Hellfire is settling in just fine. He is now sleeping on my bed with the dogs and cats and me. He grabs my feet regardless of movement on my part. He has decided that the TV on NAT GEO Wild is pretty cool too, he will watch many different channels though. Canned food and wand toys seem to have won him over. He is my Siamese’s mini me. Where goes one goes the other.

Hobo joined his brother and all the other cats we’ve had in Florida Tuesday. The catnip fields have a new cavorter.

The restored version of Spartacus with Kirk Douglas was on TCM last night. It’s a 3 hour and 29 minute movie, and it didn’t take as long as this story line for the plot to develop.

OK, as an old lady who has trouble remembering, I’m gathering, from hints by commenters that the mice on the far right are, from left: Agnes, Alice, Natasha and Violet. Is this correct? I think I won’t be able to tell Alice from Violet in lest they are both in the same cel, as the only difference I can see is that Violet is quite a bit smaller than Alice. Are Violet and Alice the Sisters?

My Little PK was a mole serial killer, Ora Zella is a Tortie maybe she has the same Tortie spiri… Of course, she does. I’ll bet she could route the moles by herself!

The mice are very wise – when people start noticing moles, they deploy traps and poisons, which are bad news for all of nature.

Sorry, Robin. I’ve removed my comment. I posted it not long after I went to bed, and just got up for work, so . . . couldn’t remove it when you asked it of me. I thought it might be too political—should have gone with my gut instinct. I promise never to post anything like that again.

I grieve with thee and thine on the loss of Cashew. You gave her shelter, food and water and she felt comfortable enough to be with you and your spouse. Blessings to you for caring for Cashew and Peanut and making their outdoor life easier.

I’ve a question for The Orb: I want to re-read the arc where Sophie comes out of her shell regarding wrestling, when she discovers it is dress-up and play-acting; can anyone point me to the date of that story?
