Gave one to Spouse for Christmas or birthday. She never used it. I called the masseuse, a friend of mine, and got it extended for another three months. She still never used it. I dunno if I’ll give her another this year or not.

Must not have expired, yet.

You should have sprung for a day at the spa for her, or better yet a week, She deserves it!

I just give my wife an IOU if I don’t know a specific item she wants. That way she free to buy what ever she wants when she wants it and still knows it comes with love.

It sounds like a waste of money. Some people don’t get anything lasting from a massage.

I get mad when my niece doesn’t use the Trader Joe’s card I gave her, even though I have old unused cards.

My idiot ex husband told me one of our anniversaries that he was thinking about getting me a certificate for one of the local day spas- facial, mani/pedi, massage, the works- and I told him that would be a lovely gift and I would use it, well, the next day was our anniverary and he gave me a card and a dozen roses, no gift certicate. I asked him about it and his response was " I didn’t think you would use it", even though I clearly told him I would. After that we just started buying what we wanted for our gifts so there would be no disappointed in what we got or didn’t get.
