Not something that you want to do in the drop-off line, Mom. You’d better just go ahead and park in and talk to the nice lady at the front desk. She’ll fix everything.
I think Hammie still needs to have notes from the teacher pinned to his shirt.
Of course, these days, the teacher can send the permission slip home via email, the parent can digitally sign it and send it back or physically sign it and put it in the kid’s bag, hoping he turns it in.
My brother tried that. He ended up staying at the school with the bad kids who were not allowed to go. He never did it twice. Responsibility training. Hammie’s failing.

Just a few slip ups in that plan

Looks like he’s not going on that field trip after all.

You could teach the boy to forge your signature, but knowing Ham, that’d backfire spectacularly.

It’s always something. In this case, several somethings.

Meanwhile, when did school trips require that level of indemnification? That sheaf is the size of a phone book!

Nothing like waiting until the last minute to give them to her.

This is even worse than when a kid tells mom in the morning she was supposed to bake cupcakes for the class today.

Normally I’d skip a museum, but the locomotives?!? Count me in!

You mean the permission forms that was supposed to be signed BEFORE WE GOT IN THE CAR?!
Blu Bunny 12 months ago
Wanda slipping at knowing that. My schools, field trips always required a parent or guardian signature, first.

Forms should have some sort of stains on them come from Hammie’s backpack.

They don’t know me but I’d be glad to go through that train museum with Hammie, or without him.

These days, all the permission forms are online for elementary schoolers.

Isn’t that the way it always happens?

I think it’s time for Hammie to learn the consequences of not remembering.
