A friend’s family went down the Colorado. They trained for two years. The trip nearly killed them.

Well this was dark from start to finish.

I prefer Hot Dogging… Same river route, no guide, three of us, on our own… You do end up in the river more often… Part of the fun…

Judging by the drawing, wild river disqualifies itself by turning into a waterfall just beyond that bend.

River Rapids are just doing their job thinning out the herd.

Going over Niagara Falls in a barrel isn’t that hard—-it’s the landing field below that’s solid stalagmite.

Gravity makes you hug the side so you can’t leapfrog over it.

Most of the rafters got stuck between a rock and . . . a rock.

I’m not normally a risk taker, but I’d love to do this. If I don’t get killed in the process, I think it’d be thrilling.

Not sure I get it. Does the Rafters side get a mark when a boat makes it safely to the end? They don’t look like they are at the end now, so how would the guy know if they made it safely?

I live in FL where all bodies of water have alligators in them. Swimming pools are sometimes included. I’m not scared of a few rapids.

In the event of an emergency, your wooden paddle becomes a floatation device — so hang the heck on!

How is keeping count a rating system?
