Wow, I thought my mom was the only person who still has one of those.

OMG that’s an old vacuum cleaner

I think that vacuum cleaner was made when “The Honeymooners” first went on TV.

Well that sucks.

I actually remember doing that with my mother’s Electrolux!

Wait until the day it’s YOUR job!

We used to ride ours down the stairs! Mom was not pleased!

only if the stuff gets sucked in faster.

Did that once when I was a kid, Mom pulled the hose into the air and I went rolling onto the floor—didn’t do it again ! ! ! Have to say Mom always complained about vacuuming ! ! !

Ahh.. the old “cannister” vacuum. Yeah, they were heavy enough without a rider…

Ah yes, April and her trusty horse, Hoover.

Well there Sun Dance, that there is a one trick pony. When you start pulling I’m sure it will go faster.

April is too big for that kind of ride……….

Oh, to be a kid again.

Nope, it sucks.

My mom had a cannister vacuum that was upright rather than horizontal. I remember using that thing (and emptying it) as a young teen. It had a handle and wheels and moved like a hand truck. When the kids moved out, she got an upright Hoover but kept the cannister for years for some reason I never did figure out. It was gone by the time she passed, but probably would have been worth something to a museum.

Geez I remember riding the old “Electrolux!”. It had sled-bars and engraving that said: “Nothing Sucks Like an Electrolux!” Long before “suck” was the multifaceted word it is today! :-D

We had one!

At age 7 I took my mom’s Electrolux vacuum apart and put it back together. It still worked. :-)

Does anyone else wait to like a strip until they can turn the count to a number with zeros like 100 or 200. My Dad used to take a ride with me just so we could watch the analog odometer turn over to a significant number with lots of zeros

I have two of them one upstairs one downstairs.
