Must be us oldest pluggers wear the same shoes for everything because there isn’t much more we can do anymore.

Yep! Got a pair at the front door, the back door and the garage.

Everybody wears them. Just like in that movie, “Idiocracy”

One should match the footwear to the job. Would not wear crocs when doing yard work .

I don’t know if crocs would be a good choice to use with my orthopedic inserts.

When did they take my picture? Grey Crocks for going out and about, Blue Crocks for yardwork.

I worked for over 30 years in Physical Therapy. We used to yell at people for wearing Crocs and flip flops that they were ruining their feet with no arch support. No one cares.

Sounds like me, sandals until snow, then boots.

I have never worn Crocs. I hear they are quite comfortable but that’s it. I’m not sure what the attraction is.

Crocks like athletic shoes, aren’t the safest for mowing the yard, and sandels – Yikes. I always don my old safety toed boots. I’ve seen the results of athletic shoed feet vs lawn mower and it isn’t pretty. Also saw the results of safety toed boot vs. lawn mower and the guy still had all his toes intact. Mower blade suffered some damage as well as the boot.

The only person in my family who regularly wears crocs is my granddaughter. She is about to have her eleventh birthday, hardly a plugger!

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Based on this plugger’s dazed expression as he stares down on his feet, I’m pretty sure he’s completely forgotten why he’s outside, and only seeing this particular pair of crocs clues him in to what his afternoon plans are. It’s sad, really.

No lawn mowing crocs – I live in an apartment – but regular crocs & dress crocs, check…FINALLY someone made feet-shaped shoes that fit my square feet!

Neither of us has ever worn crocs – plastic shoes not good for Diabetic feet and he also has to be careful in general.

I tend to wear children’s shoes – often boys – because my feet are small and they fit better than women’s equivalent sized shoes (and are a lot cheaper in price for the same shoes). Most times I wear a pair of boys black skateboard sneakers. I started wearing them far enough before the start of Covid that our first trip during same that was not for food included buying new shoelaces as one had broken and I am still wearing the same pair now.

I have a pair of boys black tie closed shoes for when I need to wear shoes instead of sneakers (such as when raining) and I have boys slippers (camouflage colors as that what they had).

Also children’s shoes tend to be cheaper in price.
