Janis has been wearing flannel for a very long time. Arlo spent a long time hoping she would wear what he likes and always looking and hoping. After a while, he realized she wouldn’t wear the nicer stuff (nice for him anyway) anymore so might as well finish the game on his phone.
These days I am always cold (even when not winter and the a/c is not on either). I have also gotten cheap in my old age. (Husband quit his job in his early mid 50s for medical reasons so retirement savings have to last a lot longer than planned, though I am still working extremely part time.) I have several old tee shirts which are perfectly good except for small holes around the neck. I wear out my jeans at the knees. A pair of old jeans and an old tee shirt (or maybe a long sleeved tee shirt in cold weather) and a pair of loose socks is fine for sleeping in. In colder winter weather a nightgown goes over it all.
If that is not strange for sleeping garments – he still mostly sleeps in underpants, but when he gets cold he asks for a spare pair of my old jeans and a spare old tee shirt to sleep in also.
(I had started wearing spare good jeans and tee shirts in our RV when we got it – just “in case” something happened and we had to get out in a rush. That gave me the idea for wearing older one at home to sleep in also.)

Why is it that we’re supposed to notice everything?
And Diaphanous is some Greek princess, right?

Uh oh…Arlo, I think you’re in trouble for not noticing.
BJDucer about 1 year ago
Hmmm, why does Janis seem to be disappointed at the fact that she has done something to disappoint Arlo and he didn’t notice?
Skeptical Meg about 1 year ago
Arlo knows. He likes you to say it.

Personally, I like a “no gown” look better.

Diaphanous and No heavier than 3 ounces! Or as Gina C said, ‘nothing at all”.

I used to wear a nightgown – sometimes still do.
