As I suspected, the Opossums are neutral. Caregivers, okay. I expected more of arbitrators, but they may yet be. We still haven’t seen Wicket, Princess Magazine or Bea.
One of the moles at least is still shaking a fist in panel one. And Monty and Wicket are still out there. And so are Bea and Magazine and the fire extinguisher. This is the lull before the…………..
Had to go into the office the past 2 days so I got on GC late, but I noticed on Tuesday that several Orbsters said that the 3rd panel was unexpected (or words to that effect); so;
Thomios: Thanks, Kat. Always glad to get the mail.
Sue Chef: Anything good?
Thomios: Yes. Patrice Possum from the Kingdom of Away is coming to pay us a visit.
Sue Chef: Great! Obadiah Opossum’s cousin from Down Under! Do we need to get any special ingredients?
Thomios: Probably, but I don’t think that will be a problem.
Agnes-Ata: We’ll never tell!
…….
A Few Days Later
Puckmosis: Welcome, Patrice Possum and Friends! We have rooms prepared for you to freshen up from your journey. Then Thomios has prepared light refreshments for you.
Patrice: Thanks, Prime Minister mate! I can’t wait to see my cousin Obie.
Puck: I’m sure he’ll be up from his nap in time for tea and scones.
Sometime Later
Patrice: That was a lovely tea, Chef Thomios. And tomorrow, I’d like to prepare a Australian brekkie for all of you.
Thomios: I’m sure we have everything for a proper fry-up. Thanks to parties unknown.
Violet-Ifa: I understand tomato season is ending soon.
Thomios: Then I hope Lupinium isn’t planning to go pink anytime soon!
I love the opossum aid. The stunned mole on the left of panel 2 is so cute, sitting on his butt with his tiny hind feet sticking out in front as he drinks from a cup.
If we are lucky, Montague the Rotten was eaten by Wicket. Montague being so rotten, Wicket gets sick and dies and all the other animals live happily ever after, in peace, harmony, and joy.

Ding-dong! The Wicked Owl is dead
Wake up you sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed
Wake up, the Wicked Owl is dead
She’s gone where the goblins go
Below, below, below
Yo-ho, let’s open up and sing and ring the bells out
Ding-dong’s the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low
Another temporary avatar change. The little gray guy has been levitating onto the bookcase so he can watch YardTV. Or nap. He’s doing well at relearning how to cat. :-D
Over to the left is Update who is stylin’ in her new harness. She broke the last one. We were able to get this one on with no bloodshed and she seems to prefer it. We didn’t bother getting her a new collar because the last three were broken with 48 hours. Have I mentioned that she is destruction on four paws. She is just happy to be able to get out of the house again. She knows that she has to wear the harness and leash to go outside.

Opossum-aid. I just never thought of Opossums as kind caregivers. Meanwhile, Mona Mole is asking the right question.

Love the opossums dishing up refreshments for the wounded. Little cups and a thermos. The best way to make peace.

Is that a little mole, kissing the hand of a tiny mouse in the lower right corner of panel two? The artwork is wonderful and the night is amazing.

Homestyle with her fork is helping with aid to the moles in panel 2. Just like she did with Beatrix in the tree. Must have something to do with soup?
