Lucky the ship’s cat didn’t get him.

When People ask what nationality I am… I reply Mutt. Mostly because of this line from Stripes (1981) -

“… We’re Americans, with a capital ‘A’, huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We’re the underdog. We’re mutts! Here’s proof: his nose is cold! But there’s no animal that’s more faithful, that’s more loyal, more loveable than the mutt….”

So you can keep the pedigree Mayflower types. I’m a Mutt.

The strange part is that he may not be lying.

Mine were here 30,000 years or so ago.

No thing grows in Arizona except cacti. Kidding, I actually have Magnolias, not sure but I think Mayflowers cannot grow here…
