In the over 247 years of this Great Nation we have had several times that the democratic-republic our Liberal Founders established would come to an end. At the very start conservatives opposed our independence. Each and every time since it was brought about by conservative policies, conservative ideals, conservative principles. Whether the plantation slave owners, or the industrial giants, the prohibition or the established rights taken away by the Supreme Court, this Great Nation suffers when conservatives have the power. Yet, every Republican/conservative Administration since 1929 have had a depression or recession, some had two. This Great Nation has thrived when Liberal policies are our government. Our rights are enforced, enhanced and expanded. Our economy grows for all the people. The 1960s are a recent example, bringing expansion of the middle class, and minorities forward fighting for their rights. We’re not finished, we’ve still a great deal to do. But conservatives will always have us taking that step backward every time we advance. Today’s conservative leadership opposes the very preamble of our constitution, “…in Order to form a more perfect Union…”. They would tear it down. conservatism is the enemy of the U.S. and has been since 1774. Liberals have always saved this Great Nation.

American Democracy started dying when Ronald Wilson Reagan (666) pandered to the unmoral minority of the religious right, continued with Newt’s Contract on America, then Mitch McConnel (yurtle the turtle) screwing with the Supreme Court, and finally we get to Trump and the attack on the Capitol

So; from the comments above I take it that to save “Democracy” we have to turn to Marxism and wind up killing 1/3+ of our population to “purify it” like Stalin and later Mao did, along with the other Democratic Leaders of EVERY OTHER “Socialist” country did. NO THANKS!
