    My father would grow yellow squash way too big and they were not tasty in the least. Better to pick them small with smaller seeds. The reason people don’t like veg is because they don’t get them done right. Young fresh veg steamed or roasted are much better than big old boiled to death ones.

    My mother’s squash dish was delicious. It had onions in it. I’m not sure what else she did to it to make such an insipid vegetable taste so good…
