With the reruns recently showing Alex’ transformation to “adult eyes,” it’s interesting to see that Sam’s eyes are now adult, while her mother Boopsie’s eyes are still child.

My mom made me a football fan. We liked the Packers and the Bears. Mom didn’t know who to yell for when they played each other, so she just ended up yelling at the TV.

Now i come in here and Boopsie has the same look.. and SHE is holding a newspaper and maybe is reading it? Trudeau is too much of a master of conveying emotions (witness the expression on BD’s face as he realises his daughter may be into football!) to draw Boopsie like this without reason and/or cause…

Some of my female relatives were chatting about Taylor at supper the other day. I never knew that Taylor was such a tramp.

I follow football but not pop music. When my wife mentioned to me that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were dating (a “news” factoid I had successfully managed to avoid) I suggested that perhaps she was interested in him for his money, $14 million a year. She looked at me pityingly and asked “Do you have any idea how much SHE’S worth?”. I guessed “Maybe somewhere in the same range?” No, as it turns out, $1.1 billion. “Not your typical gold-digger, then, huh?”, I cleverly responded.

The other day they reran that Batman episode where The Penguin runs for Mayor of Gotham City,and considering how precognitive it was about election strategies;it gave me the creeps.
