Leftovers from the fight last week.

You’re gonna need bigger wipers.

Do they have to haul it back to the Planet of the Space Bugs for proper … ummm…. whatever they do with dead space bugs?

When you hit the brakes too hard…

Um, windshield? In space?

What was REALLY disgusting was when the station ran over that space skunk!

Are you sure it’s dead?

To the best of my knowledge there is no wind in space. (Although we all know what it means and I might be the only person pedantic enough to mention it.) Vacuum seal? Viewing port? Picture window?

Might be easier to just replace their windshield. How long can you hold your breath, Brewster?

Why do you need a windshield in space? Ain’t no wind out there

This reminds me of a story from the SECTOR GENERAL omnibus book I found years ago. For those unfamiliar, SECTOR GENERAL is a sci-fi/ medical series; think “E.R.” meets “House” meets “Star Trek”. Or, if you recall, the short-lived “Mercy Point” from the 90s. A great set of stories those were.

I have a really stupid question, but here goes: There’s no atmosphere on the moon. If I were wearing a space suit and had a place to plug in a vacuum cleaner (you know, to clean up all the junk the astronauts left behind) would a vacuum work in a vacuum? (I warned you it was a stupid question.)

Were they visiting Planet P?

Must have put on the brakes (sorry, reverse thrusters) too hard.

“Windshields” in space?

Believe me, it would be a lot more disturbing, if it were alive.

What’s even worse is that the janitor just quite yesterday.

For all of those pointing out that they don’t need a windshield, what about the solar winds?

Be grateful it’s dead (space dead?).

Now that’s gonna bug her the rest of the day.

And We just ran out of wiper fluid.

No wind in space, other than the Solar Wind, which is dust thrown off by the sun.

They were battling the insectoids a few days ago.

And you know what’s even more disturbing? That the bug is a female and have a million eggs ready to hatch at any moment…

Yeah, that solar wind can be fierce sometimes.
