Just yesterday I saw a similar scene in a documentary of the Saguaro desert: a fluffy fellow was hiding under the cacti and a bird of prey was trying to reach far enough from outside to catch it.
Growing up, we lived in a house with a thorn-bush hedge … I self-taught a way to pass through without being stabbed with its toxins … later in life, I called this trait, finding a shortcut.
