I saw a gentleman on the bus the other day. He had a backpack, a duffle bag (the type you would take to the gym), and one of those reusable grocery bags… all full of stuff. But as he was getting on the bus I realized the duffle bag wasn’t quite full – only about half. Lounging on top (with her feet tucked in!) was a cat. Just sitting there as if her human was a throne/palanquin. Following all the bus rules – she had a harness and leash. But clearly – she had her human trained well!

If that pirate on the right wants cats around, all he has to do is wrap his peg leg with sisal rope and he’ll have more than he can handle.

Even today, a ship’s cat is considered a part of the crew. A combination pest control and morale officer.

Is the cat the ancestor to Paulie of the Anoesis?
