If the fan rotates counterclockwise, centifugal force will take over and sent Hammie flying. If it rotates clockwis, the amount of hang time will be dictated by what speed Zoe starts it on.

Obviously “Grounded for Life” didn’t last long ( not surprising) or it hasn’t sunk in yet for Zoe. Punishment for this should add another 99 years – but again, nothing will happen.

My kids did that. Only she held onto one fan from both sides so hung in the middle. The other daughter then turned it on. Fortunately my wife walked in before it came down. Also, fortunately, when I installed the ceiling fans instead of using lightweight aluminum braces made for lights, I put in 2×4 bracing so it held.
