I would be both proud and concerned if my kid did that.
Aren’t Mom and Dad the least bit concerned about where Calvin gets all these ideas?
There was a recent arc on “Doonesbury” depicting an HOA going after Zonker’s parents for hanging their laundry outdoors.
Just imagine that happening to Calvin’s parents over his snow creations!!
BTW—trees wouldn’t conceal this “art” in winter—unless they’re evergreens.
More trees in the neighbourhood is always a good thing. C&H Snowman strips are always my favourites.
Watterson’s yard is probably surrounded by an Arborvitae forest.
Hedges grow faster and fuller.
The neighbours didn’t want to hedge their bets……….
Love Calvin’s snow goals during the winter. I’ve never saw this one before. Hilarious! LOL…
I totally wanna see Kramer leading this Festivus tradition!
Cannibal snowmen drink their victims.
I have to admit, Calvin’s “Snow People” antics are some of the best stuff that’s ever been seen on the comics page.
Alert: Today’s “Hi and Lois” (on comicskingdom and arcamax) includes a kid that some say looks like Calvin.
Alas, poor Yorick (and friends)…
What normal kids make those types of snowmen?
Safaris harmless.
I didn’t understand as a kid that the snow explorer was meant to be horrified, so I thought he was picking up the shrunken heads and going “Ah, what fascinating specimens!”
But the trees will outlast the end of winter.
Are those supposed to be shrunken heads or turnips?
The snow men are what I look forward to most in the winter.
Well, I gotta admit I am ‘snowed’ on this one. What do the snow balls represent?
Well, Doctor Livingsnow, I presume.
Who knows what this symbolizes.
I think Calvin is depicting this snow goon as selling the heads!
Time for a Child Psychologist appointment…
Calvin joined headhunters anonymous.
The bus driver can always find Calvin’s house
I used to walk along a suburban street. One owner had let his yard go wild. In the summers I could hear the insects happily buzzing away.
The neighbors had planted evergreens along the property line to block their view. It was their loss. Lawns are ecological disasters.
Sort of a scream-win situation
Making a cauldron out of snow is pretty impressive
Fictional media never show shrunken heads anymore
In Hawai`i we use monkeypods, kukui, and African tulips to hide our neighbors.
Jees, Bill what kind of childhood did you have!?!?
More kids need to make these kinds of snowpeople.
LOLOL — When I see some of Calvin’s handiwork, I remember he’s always kind to animals.
After all these years of Calvin, people are still popping out kids left and right. They never learn.
That’s some pithy humor there.
