This is somewhat similar to someone who refers to a chosen act of evil as a “mistake.” Thinking they might get away with it….yeah that could be a mistake, but to intentionally do something is not a mistake.
Now that you can use AI for free, he could use it to get ideas. His parents would be proud of him for learning how to use AI, until they find out what he is using it for.
About 50 or so years ago, a family down the road had a couple of kids, a boy (9) and a girl (7). he was younger than him by about 2 years and he was a perpetual pain in the butt to her day in and day out.
One day he had been tormenting her by pinching her, shoving her, etc. She’d had enough and punched him in the face. That punch knocked him down and broke his nose. As an interested bystander, I thought it was hilarious to watch. He jumped up and went running into the house, bawling like a sick calf to his mother.
She sent the daughter to our house for my mother to watch while she took dumb butt to the doctor to get his nose fixed. When the mom got back, I was asked what I saw. I told their mom what he’d bee doing, she checks the girl finding the bruises from the pinching. The girl wasn’t disciplined, but neither was the boy, their parents figuring he’d been taught a lesson. He took that lesson to heart, never really bothering her again. She was just as content to mind her own business.
Last I heard he had been to jail for stealing. She supposedly became an elementary school teacher.

Come on, kids; it’s too close to Christmas for you to be traumatizing each other. Call a truce until January 2.

If Hammie hasn’t already set one or two nefarious schemes into play, then he may just still be trying to stay on the ‘Nice’ list

Apologizing in advance negates the sincerity of the apology.
