Hobbes proved beyond any doubt that he does more than just sleep.

Calvin forgot to remove his shoes in the house. Nice of Hobbes to remind him.

Methinks he reacted to the “Cheap” reference.

Why does Calvin overestimate Hobbes?

The Count is chortling thinking how many millennials and younger do not have the faintest clue what this comic is referring to.

Maybe it wasn’t the lyrics. Maybe it was the quality of Cal’s voice. I’m thinking Cal and Patti did not have a lot in common.

Pretty good parody lyrics by Calvin. Must be natural talent as he sure doesn’t pay attention in school.

I had a similar experience. I went over to our sleeping cat and hollered “wake up, look alive, do something”. The cat did just that. He woke up, hissed at me, and went back to sleep.

Jesters are seldom appreciated. Often for good reason.

“Let sleeping dogs lie.” applies also to tigers… in spades.

LOL…. As with dogs… Calvin needs to learn to let sleeping tigers lie…

Me and my sister used to make a parody of a parody and sing this about our old greyhound. He would lie on the floor in front of the heater with his feet in the air and resemble a road-kill deer. I miss that old lug.
