I just remembered that one comic where Marigold became jealous of the cow that jumped over the moon.

Looks like Mari finally upstaged that cow.

Take a picture and show it to people who think the earth is flat.

And that, friends, is an ample demonstration of the way limitless power stifles one’s imagination in actually using it.

There’s two possibilities I think of when I see this earth in the strip.

    1. Dana didn’t really put too much effort into trying to make it look a little more like how ours would look from the moon.

The countries are there but they seem bigger in some areas or not as much in others.

    2. It is a parallel version of our earth which is very close alike but there are things there that made it evolve differently and the countries are a little different in size and shape than here.

Phoebe’s world should be an earth that is shaped very differently from ours, but where people still live like we do with the exception of fantasy creatures and magic.

but then you would have to make up a whole new world and customs and cultures, history and all that.

Phoebe once told Marigold that perhaps there are other worlds where she was human just like there might also be other worlds where Phoebe exists as well.

in MLP there is Equestria and then there is the Equestria girls world.

it’s possible that there might be a world where Marigold is human and it would be so cool if Marigold ever saw or met her human self through a mirror or portal or something.

Just like how Twilight Sparkle got to meet and talk to her human self.

Dana needs to really consider exploring Marigold as a human sometime and if there are other worlds which might be other versions of Phoebe’s world.

Maybe they can find the Apollo 11 moon buggy and see if it’s still operational..

Remember, you need to write a 2 page report on what you did over Christmas vacation.

The lesson is: never try. That’s usually the lesson to most things.

Future Astronauts are gunna be VERY confused why there are unicorn hoof prints all over the moon. Weirdos will claim they’re fake and unicorns never were on the moon, but we all know better.

I want to hear the explanations of future lunar explorers who try to explain the hoof prints, and occasional bare foot prints in the regolith.

Barefoot on the moon. Marigold probably used her magic to prevent Phoebe from getting hurt in addition to not suffocating etc.

Since Christmastime 1968 when Apollo 8 astronaut William Anders took the iconic photograph of earthrise from moon orbit, we’ve known what earth looks like from the moon. The earth from the moon looks nothing like it is represented in this strip.
