Puck, reality may soon disappoint you…

I love the twinkly eyes from Pucky. He really wants to see that Beautiful Pizza Pajama Butterfly! Twinkle, Twinkle Little Stars?

As that arctic blast rolls through the center of the country, could be a lot of cocooning to come.

I wonder if the pizza pajama butterfly has a pepperoni patterned wings?

It remains to be seen.

I love my cocoon. Hubby got me some chicken pot pie with dumplings soup. Yum!

You can’t rush a butterfly out of a cocoon.

Or just the Woman needing to go to the bathroom.

From pizza pajama cocoon she flies

High above the cats she’ll soar

Looking for kitty beans galore

I have been sick, with the flu, for about 4 days now. My cat Cassidy, has been my cacoon buddy! When I made it downstairs to make some soup, I sat on the couch and my brother’s cat, Tiger, jumped on my lap to soothe me! Cats, they always seem to know when you’re sick!

I built a fire around 2 yesterday when I got home because it was so cold in the house with the snow we were having. By the time evening came, I had Beau and Shorty both laying on the ottoman along my legs, soaking up the warmth. I had to chuckle and post the pic to the rescue group because of the concern they had when we rescued Beau that he’d want to go after Shorty all the time. At 18, she doesn’t have time for that nonsense and told him who was boss in no uncertain terms. It shows. She’s closest to the fire in the pic :)

Arlo and Janis is very cute this morning, by the way!

I hope the woman had a nice rest because it has to be coming up on feeding time for all the Reporters.

Kitten Mafdet: I can draw, and my twin sister can do papier maché.

Ora Z: I just happen to have art supplies the Royal Procurers brought me before they went on vacation. Alright everyone, who wants to have fun?

Dr. Salubria: Look at this mess! And who’s been making all this noise?

Ora Z: We all have.

Dr. Salubria: And what do you have to say for yourself?

Ora Z: We all had fun.

Dr Salubria: I can see that. Now tomorrow I understand is the great pizza banquet. I’m sure Thomios can bring a few pizzas here.

All: Yea!

Dr. Salubria: I just hope there will be no food fights. Ora Z, will you see to it?

Ora Z: No problem!

Doc: I’d better ask Baba Stet if her enchanted broom family is available.

On Monday we had three inches of snow. By Wednesday the rain had washed it all away. What even is weather anymore?

You better believe it is so.

Even in Central Texas we’re going to be below freezing for 2-3 days. There’s pink showing up on the forecast map just west of Austin now, and it wasn’t there earlier. I’m hoping our energy gurus are as prepared as they say they are and it’s not 2022 again with my door blocked by snow—IN CENTRAL TEXAS. Brrr, I’m shivering thinking about it.

Got a new electric throw this fall. It’s so cold here I cocooned on the couch earlier with it. My Yorkie came to investigate and realized just how warm that fuzzy throw is. I’ve never seen her snuffle and snuggle any harder. Yorkies hate cold and this one was raised by a cat so double that!
